Ericka Ledferd has over 15 years of board experience with community organizations in a variety of entities on community planning and in the public education sector.
Her work impact followed 20 years in education, and youth empowerment with Texas A&M University-Commerce, TRIO Programs, BIC of McKinney, Baptist Immigration Center- Plano, Light of Hope Immigration Law Center, Royse City ISD, Upward Bound, and the UB Summer Program in the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development at SMU. Ericka holds a bachelors of Science in Political Science with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters degree in Spanish Literature. Ericka and her husband David have been married for 21 years. They have three beautiful children. The pursuit of goodness, kindness, and honesty are essential in Ericka's daily life. Ericka was re-elected to the board of Light of Hope Immigration Law Center in 2019.
